Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before placing your order with Mom’s Choice By Rajiha. By paying a deposit and confirming your booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an order under certain circumstances.

Ingredients

At Mom’s Choice By Rajiha, we take pride in the quality and freshness of every product we create. All cakes, cookies, and cupcakes are made in a licensed home kitchen where nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs are present. While we take great care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.

Payment Information

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. No work will commence until the deposit has been received.
• Once the deposit is paid, the quoted price is fixed based on the agreed design and details.
• The remaining balance is due four days prior to collection or delivery via bank transfer.
• Orders will not be released unless paid in full.

Delivery & Collection

• Delivery is not included in your quoted price.
• Delivery may be available depending on location and schedule; fees vary based on distance and will be confirmed in writing.
• Sunday deliveries incur additional charges due to weekend rates.
• For most orders, pick-up is preferred. Mom’s Choice By Rajiha operates from Greystanes, Sydney, NSW. The exact pick-up address will be provided once your deposit is received.
• Delivery must be requested at the time of enquiry so we can confirm availability.

Order Confirmation

Please ensure all details — including names, dates, design notes, dietary requirements, and collection/delivery information — are correct in your order confirmation. Notify us immediately if any changes are required.

Cancellations & Date Changes

All cancellations or changes must be made in writing.

• More than 4 days before your event: Your deposit may be transferred as credit toward a future order, minus any costs already incurred.
• Within 4 days of your event: The full deposit is forfeited.
• Rescheduling: Orders may be rescheduled up to 7 days before the event without penalty.
• If Mom’s Choice By Rajiha must cancel: In the rare event we are unable to complete your order due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund and assistance in finding another decorator where possible.

Storage

• Fondant cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place and not refrigerated, as condensation may cause colors to run or decorations to soften.
• Buttercream cakes should be kept cool and out of direct sunlight.
• Figurines and decorations should be handled gently and kept away from heat. Improper storage may result in damage for which we cannot be held responsible.

Damage After Collection Or Delivery

Once a cake has been collected or delivered, Mom’s Choice By Rajiha cannot accept responsibility for any damage that occurs. If damage happens after delivery, we may be able to repair it for an additional fee, depending on availability.

Variations From Inspiration Photos

While we do our best to match your inspiration images, all cakes are handmade and may vary slightly in color, style, or detail. Some materials or decorations may be unavailable at times; if so, we will replace the closest possible alternative and notify you of any major changes.

Decorative items such as figurines, toys, or sugar pieces are not edible unless stated otherwise.

Design & Artistic Interpretation

Cake decorating is an artistic process. We may make design adjustments during creation to ensure structural integrity, balance, or aesthetic quality. No two handmade cakes are ever identical, and slight variations are part of the creative process.

Colour Matching

Exact color matching cannot be guaranteed. Clients requesting specific colors should provide samples where possible. Ribbon and decorative materials are subject to availability. Some figurines may contain internal supports such as toothpicks or wires — these must be removed before serving.

Refunds

If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us immediately. Refunds can only be considered if the cake is returned to us within the next business day for assessment. We cannot offer refunds for cakes that have been consumed or discarded.

Photography

Photos of your cake may be taken before collection or delivery and may be used for our website, social media, or promotional materials. These images remain the property of Mom’s Choice By Rajiha.

Food Safety & Liability

All products from Mom’s Choice By Rajiha are prepared in a licensed home kitchen following safe food-handling practices. Once a cake or other item has been collected or delivered, the responsibility for proper storage, handling, and transportation passes to the customer.

We cannot accept liability for any food-borne illness, allergic reactions, or quality concerns that arise from:

• Improper storage (e.g., refrigeration of fondant cakes, exposure to heat or sunlight).
• Contamination after collection or delivery.
• Consumption beyond the recommended time frame.
• Failure to disclose allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering
• Customers are responsible for ensuring that cakes are stored correctly and served within safe time limits. Guidance will be provided with each order.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your personal information will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties unless required by law or authorized by you.
